Les 3 Primitives
« Les 3 Primitives » is the second spirit of the Brand. It takes root in the story about the 3 founding cantons of the Helvetic Confederation called Uri, de Schwyz and de Nidwald. These three communities have sworn mutual support against anyone outside the border who might attack or harm them. They signed a Federal Pact in August 1291.
“Les 3 Primitives” salutes the creation of the Swiss Confederation and those who protect it. The Swiss Army is a symbol of the union between the cantons of the country. Beyond their different cultures and languages, the servicemen form one and unique national force. The Swiss Army trains but especially settles out the common values of peace, equality and democracy of this country. The originality of this Army is that, despite their differences, they manage to move forward through dialogue and compromise.
